When “Check-ups” Cause More Harm Than Good

CT scans and other medical imaging use ionizing radiation which, if overused, can increase the risk of cancer. Not every “check-up” is harmless.

✅ Tip of the Day:
Before agreeing to a CT, ask your doctor if an ultrasound or MRI can provide the same answers without radiation.
